Introducing the E-Panda Hooligan, tailor made for Eric “E-Panda” Hernandez, the session and tour drummer for Bruno Mars and Bruno’s brother. E-Panda started playing at the impressionable age of four and gigging professionally at the age of 10, booking shows six nights a week for nearly a decade. It was the unrelenting and diverse performance schedule that bred rock-steady consistency into the Hawaiian-raised percussionist’s playing, informing within his mind and limbs a mastery of all music styles. Whether it’s soul, funk, reggae or rock, E-Panda is a revered first-call player when filling pockets and laying grooves are the order of business.
In addition to his work with Bruno Mars, E-Panda backs Taio Cruz, and he has had the pleasure of sharing the stage on drums with Rihanna, Sting, Cee-Lo Green (Gnarls Barkley), Monica, Keri Hilson, K’Naan, B.o.B, Janelle Monae, Carmit Bachar (Pussy Cat Dolls), Tre Hardson (the Pharcyde), Kim Hill (Black Eyed Peas), Travie Mc Coy (Gym Class Heroes), Jeff Bhaskar (Kanye West) and the Far East Movement.
